A RANGE of activities are planned every Friday this August at Stourhead.
There will be a chance to create string from natural materials, learn about stone carving, make stories and climb trees with Forest Fridays at the National Trust estate.
Martin Clements, Stourhead’s Visitor Experience Officer, said: “From tree climbing and nature trails, to forest fun and bug hunts, we have lots going on our Forest Fridays for all the children in the family, whatever their age.
“You can explore our dedicated multi-activity site, take part in bug hunts, quizzes and lots more, we have plenty of activities to keep everyone amused and busy.”
Children will also have the opportunity to learn how to use camouflage effectively to hide in the wild with bushcraft expert Greg Power.
Stourhead’s climbing team will also be revealing secrets for looking after trees as well as helping people climb some of their trees at a cost of £2.50 per climb.
Stourhead’s Forest Fridays will take place every Friday from August 5 – 26 August, 11am-3pm.
