BARGAIN hunters descended upon Shaw's Lowden Garden Centre to find a few deals and raise money for Cancer Research at an antiques valuation day.
The BBC’s Kate Bliss, of Bargain Hunt and Flog It, was on hand to lend her expertise in a day that raised hundreds of pounds for the charity at the centre in Folly Lane.
Christopher Scott-Moody, of the garden centre, said: "It was a really successful day and I am very pleased with how it all turned out.
"This is the first time we have done this but everyone seemed to really enjoy it which was great.
"It was lovely to have Kate and the school come along. People had a lot of fun finding out about the history and value of some of their items as well as raising awareness for a great cause."
Pupils from Stonar School, who have chosen the charity as their charity of the year, also headed down for the show and sang for the 150 or so people who went along from 10am-3pm.
