Try to curb aggressive behaviour in pre-schoolers with Supernanny Jo Frost's top tips.
1. Help your child work out what they are feeling and encourage them to express it using words, rather than violence.
2. Get them to emphasise - ask them how they would feel if someone kicked them.
3. Make sure your child knows that aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated. Do not expose them to violent behaviour on TV or video games, as this can make them think this is normal behaviour.
4. Keep your cool. Children learn how to control their anger from how their parents react. Don't smack them or shout and lose control as this shows them that aggression is the answer.
