A South West combat sports event organiser is celebrating 25 years of staging professional wrestling bouts in Wiltshire.

Stuart Natt, of CSF Professional Wrestling, returns to The Corn Exchange in Devizes on Saturday, October 21 for another high-flying, action-packed, bone-crunching, family entertainment spectacular.

The group celebrates 25 continuous years of holding live events this month, with Devizes chosen to host the 25th anniversary show.

Mr Natt said: “We started way back in 1998 and are still hosting regular events today. Twenty-five years is such huge milestone.

“We are now of the UK’s longest-running wrestling events since the sport’s departure from ITV back in 1988.”

Mr Natt said: “We first started out as CSF Promotions and the idea behind the company was to promote wrestling, boxing and other combat sports.

“CSF Promotions ran multiple shows across many areas but the focus then became professional wrestling.

“We also had a training school for many years which ran in Swindon, Melksham, Newport and Bristol.”

Following multiple sell-outs at The Corn Exchange, the venue will again host this month’s event as 12 top stars arrive to do battle in five Pro Bouts with fans of all ages welcome to attend.

Some special guests will be a part of the event as the nephews of the legendary WWE Tag Team: The British Bulldogs will be competing.

Thomas and Mark Billington have been making waves in the world of wrestling and are currently based in Canada, where they appear for Stampede Wrestling, which is owned by superstars such as WWE legend Bret ‘Hitman’ Hart.

The Billington Bulldogs have been carrying on the legacy of the original Bulldogs, their uncle Dynamite Kid and Davey Boy Smith.

They will be making the trip over to face the UK’s most dominant tag team: Bane ‘n’ Bronson.

The main bout of the evening will see man mountain Bullit v Lucian Phillips in the annual Deadly Draw match, plus the Māori warrior NIWA faces the ever popular local star Kian Enderby in a clash of the heavyweights.

The doors open at 6pm, with the first bell at 6.30pm. The event is due to finish at 9pm.

Tickets priced at £12 each for all ages are available directly from CSF Wrestling by visiting: www.csfwrestling.co.uk or in person from Devizes Books in the town centre.
