Romney House, Trowbridge, is a family run residential home for the elderly offering a homely environment for your much loved elderly relatives.

We are a small home with only 20 residents and we offer either respite or long-term care.

At this time of year with winter approaching maybe you are considering a place for a family member.

We have lovely en-suite rooms available where you will be assured they will be warm and well cared for during the long cold winter months.

They will also benefit from the companionship of other residents and staff. Romney House also holds social events organised at regular intervals including home vists from chiropodists, vicars, massage therapists, opticians and many more.

Once your family member is a resident at Romney they will no longer have the worry of making doctors’ appointments or getting to a surgery to see a doctor. Doctors are provided as soon as possible when requested.

Romney House is run by manager Trudi Pearson with senior care assistants Jayne Abbott, Nicky Fairclough and Mandy Brimson.

Trudi has two years’ experience in a senior position and has NVQ Level Three and actively working towards her managers award.

Nicky, Mandy and Jayne all have achieved NVQ Level Three and many years’ experience in all levels of care so you can be assured of excellent care at all times.

We are having an open day on Sunday October 26 if you would like to come and visit and join us for a cup of tea and slice of homemade cake.
