FROME Town have had a formal approach for former Chippenham Town assistant manager Richard Fey rejected by Bridgwater Town.

The Robins sacked boss Derek Graham last weekend and have seen their bid to speak to ex-Frome player Fey dismissed out of hand by Bridgwater chairman Pat Parker.

In a statement on Calor League Division One South & West Bridgwater's website, Parker indicated that his manager would be 'going nowhere'.

Frome currently sit 20th in the Premier Division and beat Street 3-1 in the Somerset Premier Cup under caretaker boss Lloyd Chamberlain last night.
