CHIPPENHAM Town have been linked with a move for Mark Preece after the defender departed Gloucester City.
The Tigers today announced that 27-year-old centre-back Preece, who has also previously featured for Forest Green Rovers, Mansfield Town and Bath City, as one of three players to have left the Conference North outfit.
Gloucester's offical website says that Preece, who has made just two starts since joining the club this summer, is 'likely to move to Southern League outfit Chippenham Town'.
Mark Collier this week confirmed that defender Matt Coupe, who joined the Bluebirds from Gloucester at the start of the season, is facing up to a spell on the sidelines with a fractured bone in his leg.
