CORSHAM CC Wildcats are top after a 4-2 win at AFC Melksham.
Melksham’s centre back Aaron Chalice went down injured, to be replaced by Tom Baxley. He then had to replace keeper Joe Menghini who suffered a bad hamstring injury. Lee Rideout was called into action only for debutant Kurt James to be the third substitution as his hamstring gave way.
Sam Jordan, two, Alex Hillier and Leigh Rogers scored for Wildcats. Sean Fordham hot two back for Melksham.
White Horse (Sunday) A won 3-1 at FC Constitutional. Dan Sandford, Steve Oakley, two, got Horse’s goals. Phil Mellor replied.
