MELKSHAM Forest Community Centre gained revenge over Oakhill for last week’s 8-1 cup mauling last week with a 5-4 win.
Clint Couzens gave Oakhill the lead but goals for Luke Fisher and Danny Ashwood put Forest 2-1 ahead. Tom Webb and Kieran Tarrant put Oakhill 3-2 up but a second from Ashwood and goals from Steve Badger and Daryl Ward made it 5-3 to Forest. Francis Turner’s late goal made it close but Forest held on.
Rowdy Cow Rowde FC beat Bath Road 5-4 in another nine goal thriller. Bradley Whitbread, four, and Joe Merritt scored for Cow. Matt White, two, Ryan Hopkins Lee Grant replied.
The Mallard FC beat Miller Sports B 4-1. Adam Foskett, two, and James Terry’s debut goal made it 3-0. Harry Waylen got Miller back in the game but Andy Matthews bagged his first for Mallard to wrap up victory.
