DAN Cooper was crowned King of Combe for the second time at the Castle Combe Grand National meeting.
The 28-year-old, the newly-crowned TT Privateers Cup winner, and the former NG and British 125GP champion took both Super Twins finals on the SB Tuning ER6, heading home Alistair Fagan on both occasions, setting a new class lap record in the process.
Another clean sweep came in the Powerbikes, on his Space Centre Racing CBR1000 Honda, heading home defending champion Phil Bevan.
Cooper topped off his weekend in style by taking all three Phoenix Open finals and the ‘Mr Blast’ King of Combe, again with Bevan doing the chasing.
Welsh racer Dale Thomas clinched pole and three podiums in the Open races and two wins in the 600 Open, setting a new class lap record on the way to glory.
British-based South African Philip Atkinson took both wins in the 250GP National Series, Broughton Gifford’s Darrell Higgins falling at the penultimate corner while in a podium position.
Fresh from their TT victories, Ben and Tom Birchall, on the Mitchell’s of Mansfield LCR Honda, took both ACU/FSRA F2 Sidecar rounds.
