Swindon Town's trip to Walsall in League Two has been rearranged due to the host's international call ups.

Town were due to visit the Poundland Bescott Stadium on Saturday, March 23, but after Walsall had three players called up for international duty, they have been given permission to move it.

The game will now take place on Tuesday, April 16 and all tickets that had been purchased will still be valid for the new date.

Swindon have a strong record on the road against the Saddlers, having won 22 of their 52 matches across all competitions, losing only 15 times there.

Town have also only lost at the Bescott Stadium twice in the league since 2005, including memorable wins like the 3-0 on the final day of the 2021/22 season and a 4-1 win whilst Swindon were on their way to the League One play-off final in 2014/15.

But the hosts are presently sitting right outside the play-off places and had won five games on the trot prior to losing to Forest Green Rovers last Saturday and then drawing with Barrow AFC on Tuesday.

Swindon are playing for nothing with eight games to play and are winless in their last three.
