Swindon Town defender Brooklyn Genesini has joined National League South leaders Yeovil Town on loan.

Genesini will join the Glovers for the remainder of the season in pursuit of more playing time, having only managed 26 minutes of League Two football since August and he has only made the matchday squad twice in 2024.

The 22-year-old arrived late in the summer window from Bournemouth after a successful trial period and was able to make an early impact as he started against Forest Green Rovers and put in the cross that led to Dan Kemp's equaliser, before remaining in the starting 11 against Wrexham the following weekend.

But this remains his latest league start to date, although he did start every EFL Trophy match.

He now heads to Huish Park to try and win some silverware as Yeovil look to bounce back to the National League at the first time of asking.

Former Swindon boss Mark Cooper has them at the top of the sixth tier, but they have experienced something of a wobble in recent weeks, failing to take maximum points in any of their last three games, although they remain nine points clear at the top with a game in hand.
