ISN’T it rather ironic for the leavers to proclaim the greatness of Britain, when they have just fired the starting gun for a referendum on Scottish independence?
If the Scots despair of us (as they would be justified in doing), the leavers’ actions will have led to us being reduced to the United Kingdom of Southern Britain and Northern Ireland. The ‘Great’ applies to the whole island, so we will no longer be able to use it when we are talking about sovereignty.
How many leavers intended to vote for Scottish independence? Another example of misinformation? Oh, and what about the Union Jack?
